This ultra sturdy Redwood Tree Bench makes a perfect accent piece for your garden, patio or any outdoor setting. Beautifully handcrafted from sustainable harvested California Redwood trees ranging from 50 years (“Young Growth”) to more than 200 years (“Old Growth”) in age. In general, grain density and color differ with age and the older the tree the longer the manufacturer?s warranty (however with simple maintenance, it?s all made to last a lifetime - even under commercial conditions). Regardless of age, all lumber is cut and milled Extra-Thick (up to 50% thicker than standard boards) so it looks, feels and is … extremely sturdy and durable. Assembly hardware is 100% stainless steel.

The quality of the wood from old-growth trees is extraordinary and is no longer available in the lumber market. Please call or e-mail with any questions. Each piece of our Redwood furniture was proudly created as part of a Restoration Forestry project, a sustainable practice by which annual tree growth significantly exceeds tree harvest. Finish Options:

Standard Sealant If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a quality semi-transparent linseed oil & tung oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 2 years. (Young-Growth will be stained to appear like Mature-Growth; learn more.)

Premium Sealant If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

Unfinished If you prefer your finish to fade to a "weathered look" quickly, or want to apply a custom stain.
