The benches can be built into the table as shown or as four separate and free-standing benches. The legs on the Octagon Table are made using full dimension two-by-six-inch timbers.

This ultra sturdy Redwood picnic table makes a perfect accent piece for your garden, patio or any outdoor setting. Beautifully handcrafted from sustainable harvested California Redwood trees ranging from 50 years (“Young Growth”) to more than 200 years (“Old Growth”) in age. In general, grain density and color differ with age and the older the tree the longer the manufacturer's warranty (however with simple maintenance, it's all made to last a lifetime - even under commercial conditions). Regardless of age, all lumber is cut and milled Extra-Thick (up to 50% thicker than standard boards) so it looks, feels and is … extremely sturdy and durable. Assembly hardware is 100% stainless steel.

Boards are fully two inches thick. The legs are made using full dimension two-by-six-inch thick timbers. Tables with attached benches use timbers under the table to hold the benches. If you plan to use an umbrella stand, keep in mind these timbers limit umbrella stand height to 12.5" or less.
