This ultra sturdy memorial bench makes a perfect accent piece for your memorial site, park, or any outdoor setting. The timbers used are a full 3 inches thick. This is a commercial grade heavy duty bench built to last in any environment. Beautifully handcrafted from sustainable harvested California Redwood trees ranging from 50 years (“Young Growth”) to more than 200 years ( “Old Growth”) in age. In general, grain density and color differ with age and the older the tree the longer the manufacturer’s warranty (however with simple maintenance, it’s all made to last a lifetime - even under commercial conditions). Regardless of age, all lumber is cut and milled Extra-Thick (up to 50% thicker than standard boards) so it looks, feels and is … extremely sturdy and durable. Assembly hardware is 100% stainless steel.

Each piece of our Redwood furniture was proudly created as part of a Restoration Forestry project, a sustainable practice by which annual tree growth significantly exceeds tree harvest. * Also available in Douglas Fir Wood which is a strong economical alternative (from trees averaging 50 to 100 years of age). Although the Forever Redwood forestlands are mostly Redwood, about 30% of the conifer trees are Douglas-fir.  Left out in the harsh year-round sun, rain and snow without maintenance, Douglas-fir is guaranteed not to decay in any climate for 10 years. Douglas-fir has significant decay resistance and is structurally extremely strong.

Dimensions:All benches are 25"D x 40"H. Seat is 18"D x 16"H. Armrests are 26"H. Boards are fully three inches thick.
