The Curved 83" Garden Bench was inspired by the traditional English Gardens. The Essex benches are constructed with dimensionally larger lumber and is suitable for use in landscape design settings requiring a heavier duty construction making it a perfect for hotels, restaurants, and resorts. Described as elegant, charming and comfortable. Handcrafted of Shorea wood, this collection continues to be an extraordinary value and will endure the elements for years to come. Mortise and tenon joint construction adds strength and longevity. Left untreated this wood weathers naturally to a warm shade of silver patina or it can be treated with our Teak Oil to maintain its natural wood colors.
Shorea wood is a relative of burma teak and maintains many of the same desireable qualities. It is incredibly strong, highly resistant to rot and insect damage. It also has a remarkable ability to withstand extreme weather. This bench will last many years outdoors with little or no maintenance. Some assembly is required.
